Life in a Belly!!

We are gifted unlike other animals to perform different tasks that are beyond our natural abilities and habitat and also live a life out the physical, mental, geographical and intellectual boundaries of birth. We basically have an option to live a life and adopt a lifestyle that we wish to, unlike our lesser privileged subordinates of the evolution tree. We can be a fish that swims; an ape that jumps; a bird that flies or a bull that tows and tugs, and drive by this need or feel we are or we wish to be something and somebody our body and mind is comfortable with, and it should remain so. Animals on the other hand do not enjoy this freedom, they are anatomical and physically of the same build, and irrespective of their emotional need they are bound be restricted by certain limitations of their physiology. There are no skinny elephants, or fat lions or furry lizards, unless of course their geographical and evolutionary needs drive them to mutate into another species altogether.

Tyler Durden and Me!!

This blog is just an afterthought/ after-effect of watching the movie “Fight Club”. More specifically a dialogue in the movie – “If I could wake up in a different place, at a different time, could I wake up as a different person?” Pondering over that line, I have been wondering if there’s another side to me, a person whom I fight to keep confined in the steely wraps of my sub-conscious mind. Who is waiting to make me a conscious less slave of his? And I found, there is one, probably not as dominant and adventurous as Tyler Durden, but I feel I’m indeed fighting to keep the other person bound to an image/perception of me by the society by exerting my conscious dominion over my thoughts, activities and responses to match or fit with the rest of herd. As an example to such nature: I’m not much of a people's person, I really am not overly disturbed by the atrocities and pains of the world, the suicides, homicides, earthquakes, tsunamis and other humanly miseries, I am not consciousl

A Certain Kind

A certain kind succeed , indeed. It takes special people to take simple activities like hard-work, sincerity and commitment to one's objectives and make them special, and achieve what others have not achieved (keeping aside moral compass of good or bad). It takes special interest and passion to catapult oneself into bigger platitudes and become noticeable and more important to disrupt the established ways of life. They are often the people who inspire happiness and also the ones who contribute to the successes of various other persons who belong to the same kind. These people can live off of their dreams and goals, and the rush of achieving them, there are not here to survive but they are here to succeed, to change the earth, to break the establishment and often be what the want to be, or more than that, they hardly ever let an opportunity bypass them and if there are no opportunities they will carve out one. These kind aren't fazed by the judgement and scrutiny others an

Love of Passion

Do you know how to feel love, for the very first time, and to feel it again and again every single time!!?  In this brief and rather inexperienced life that I have lived, I have fallen in love for a number of times than that I can count. And on every such occasion I can feel a rush of energy, emotions, zeal, aspirations and a great sense of hope towards life. Isn't it amazing, that, how bundling a bunch of positive buzz words to describe something that the world has talked about over a zillion times in over a zillion ways, and yet there is always something  amiss, a void. There’s a lacuna in those descriptions that no words can fill. It’s one of many such things about life that has to be felt, experienced and cherished in all its fullness and emptiness, in times that it worked and in times it didn't, and also the times that you made a fool of yourselves trying to make it work. But then, always its best description is in the heart, mind, body and soul of the person experie

Bharatha as I see it..

I’m writing this post, inspired by a whatsapp argument I had with my bunch of friends. I wanted to pen my thoughts independent of an argument cause its easier to be carried away by the heat of the argument and one might misquote or misinterpret one’s understanding of a subject as grey as the Mahabharata. The main issue of contention was that the idea of Kauravas vs the Pandavas, and how the whole of Mahabharatha was biased towards glorifying the Pandavas. My friends also opined that Pandavas had no legal right over the throne of Kuru vamsha.  I would like to clarify that Pandavas never staked claim to the throne of Hastinapur, being valid and rightful Princes of the Kuru vamsha they sought rightful co-existence with the Kauravas. The only rightful character in the whole of Mahabharata after Shantanu who had all the qualities of a King but choose to forego the same over a promise he had made to his father and step-mother Bhishma was supposed to take care of both Dritharastra’s and

Political Sanyaaas!!!!

For a long time now I have kept away from politics in my blog...  Nobody reads it, nor does it convey anything.. We have been living under the notion that an Idea/Thought/philosophy is good only if it sells... I must not be outraged, if my identity is sold. If I’m scammed everyday.. my food prices cease to be under reach... Scams are no more new to us, we have had a legacy of such scams... we have been used to it. It’s just another news event that's it..  Well when most choose to ignore and carry on with their lives, a little curious citizen tries to know the scammed amount and the scamster, there ends his little duty towards the nation, or a few self claimed responsible citizens discuss it at office lobbies, coffee shops, family get-togethers, online forums and blogs.  Politics was a subject of choice for me to pick a conversation, talk ideologies, policies, acts, debates and most of the Election and the Pompous Campaigns. I just hate it out right now... Thanks

Pyarge Aagbittaithe

Pyarge Aagbittaithe... A different way of saying, I’m in love.. Yes in indeed I’m in love, After a very long time I have truly liked a song from a mainstream Kannada movie. That too for so many elementary reasons like the lyrics, the rendition, voice of the female singer and music. The song from the Movie Govindaya Namaha, starring Komal as Hero and newcomer as Heroine, has forced me to take a refreshingly new view towards the Kannada movie. The song carries an unique richness and touch of class which all the while missing in our movies. The director takes us on a journey through Indian Cinemas, right from the setup of the classic B&Ws, the Eastman Color to the present Digital Colors, and makes a striking expression on How the essence of Love and grandeur is expressed in our songs. The music starts from the old Indian cinema music, with only the harmonium and a few other instruments like the tabla and shahanai, and gradually moves on to the digital beats, again not losing the tun
