Do u think, this kind of Nursery Rhymes, will help tackle the Security Issues staring starkly at the face of the Nation. At the SAARC meet, apparently this was what done by Mr. PM; The newspapers Heralded nationwide in Bold Letters “IND DELIVERS A TOUGH MESSAGE TO PAK”. In the past 2 weeks there have been more than 10 counts of breach of LOC and the Ceasefire sponsored by the Pak Army and Masterminded by the ISI, we are just so content in Delivering a Message at a Cozy meet. There is a need for more robust and standalone laws and a dedicated federal unit to implement them, equipped to take the terror bulls by the horn.

80’s and Early 90’s saw the birth of various terror groups around the peripherals of the country, and nearly three decades into it and still we are palpably squandering in keeping it Checked, though wiping it out will almost remain a dream.

There are many terror groups in India, which have taken up arms to FIGHT for their CAUSES, like the Khalistan groups in Punjab, the ULFA, BODO and the Nagas in the East; Apart from the Islamic Terror Outfits. The ARMY and the Local Police have driven away and broken the Network of the Orgs like ULFA and have terminated the Khalistan Uproar. When it comes to the Islamic Organizations, our political Bigwigs seem to be indifferent; the lapses in the army and BSF all along the Bangladeshi Border, the existence of Moles in our Army and IB, who work for the terror groups and ISI, are all downplayed and Ignored in spite of several Instances and convincing evidences. We have helped the terror groups to breed, in the nation. The Unauthorized dwellers in the city of Mumbai alone, is quite Staggering. Although, all of them may not be terrorists, even then why must the Tax paid by the Citizens of the Country be used to feed these Foreign Leeches? When there’s some sort of tough stand taken by Govt., in Power, there are Hundreds and thousands of Sunglasses clad and Designer Dressed liberals, socialites and activists of Human Rights scampering all over the place to SAFEGAURD humanity. Well, if all of them did away with their make up accessories and other luxuries, and used the same for empowering and educating people, there would hardly be any crime against Humanity.

I’m sorry to poke at the Congress and other parties that opposed the POTA, and eventually got it scrapped, to appease their Vote Banks, by juggling around with the numbers. There is a lack of Strong laws (the POTA has been Scrapped, the TADA has expired and it has numerous lapses and is pathetically outdated, given the network and Execution of terror activities), a free hand to the IB and the Police, a federal Unit to tack and crack any anti-national activity or unit and more importantly a Political will.


The argument that, strong laws will be a tool at the Police’s Hand to harass the Commoners, and would lead to violation of Human Rights is Unfounded. Any law can be misused, a well framed law and accountability in the method of executing it will do no harm to any.
Terrorism has spread, wide and deep into the nation, cities that have remained safe and out of the Radar of foreign hands, in a span of 18 months witnessed bloody attacks; Cities like Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Hyderabad, that have lead India into the 21st century and critically important in establishing us as an Economic and Technological Superpower have been battered by these attacks, that has exposed our inadequacies in tackling technologically masterminded terror attacks.

Terror has evolved into a sophisticated network of Crimes, it is no longer just a group of mislead, masked men, wielding guns, scurrying around and killing people; it has advanced both in planning and execution, superior technology and best of criminal minds and infrastructure are at its disposal, also there are a boatful of crooked politicians vouching for them. But still we are, laidback and glistening in our “I DON’T CARE” Attitude. I don’t say one should panic for the petty bombs that exploded in our Backyards, but fear the political fiends who are leading it into our hallways.
