THRILLER moves into HISTORY!!!

Mj aged 50 dies!!! The star who holds the greatest hits of music records, is no more. An era solely dominated by his musical acumen and dancing agility, comes to an end... One cannot stop admiring the genius of Michael Jackson's Music, but more than that I greatly adore his Humanitarian Concerns, and his ability to connect to people, which he tried to portray in most of his songs. He was a poor man who couldn't handle Success, and the turmoil that he had to endure by the selective media bias which was daunting on his frailty. He was a trendsetter, and broke many dimensions of Modern Music and Entertainment, both in terms of Singing and Choreography... He's inspired countless poor and disheartened souls to whom he very much related himself to. He was also the one who can be credited with creating a CHARITY FRENZY among the celebrities, as he himself had organized and participated in many such events. Sadly, he was demeaned of his worthy character. Some called him BAD , Some ...

Update!!!!

1) Upset by Elections and enormous amt of Boredom in IPL…’ 2) Exams like IES and Civil Services, which went pathetically bad… 3) A conundrum of Spiritual, Emotional and Material status of my Mind. 4) And mainly, my pathetic typing Skills, and impatience to key in those letters… All these have Pushed me into a temporary Blogger sanyas…. So I shall post a brief update of the April and May… Before I try to get on with usual nonsense… Not that an update matters, but just it makes this particular post lengthy enough to suffice the literary void suffered in the last 2 months … April... Glutton is Threaded!! I got my Brahmin's Tag this April, in the presence of a handful of relatives and friends (my father's), at a century old temple in the heart of Bangalore... Nice temple to visit for devotees of lord krishna.. That's the max.. expressive i can get... I'm really bad at descriptive answers, u can check my academics for that matter... I have been writing a travelogue ever sinc...

ButterFly Gyaan Continues....

I've been Obsessed with the Caterpillars, the Butterflies and Moths for quite some now... I've been drawing quite a lot of lessons and examples from these modest yet flirtatious creatures... may be I'm consoling my sub-conscious mind to think that I'm Being a Caterpillar now and a Butterfly for the Future.. well I've not yet got to lay fingers down and pinpoint the reason, but I've developed a sort of Charm towards it... The latest lesson being, the comparison of a ButterFly to its Distant Cousin the Silk Moth.... The Caterpillar and the SilkWorm both munch down loads of leaves and build similar cocoons too, while the former morphs itself into a beautiful butterfly in the Cocoon; the latter is baked up in boiling water in order to procure silk... To take some lessons from these two beings... If you are Building a Cocoon (character) around you; build it to help you thru stages of life and not merely to impress others.. though people do get attr...

An Anniversary with the Adversary

Feb 14 th evoked a lot of mixed and vexed emotions in me, not for the reason that I share my first name with the culture honcho Muthalik, but it was exactly a year before this Date, I met ‘HER’…. Yes HER refers to that special someone…. Many of you might know her, she’s pretty famous these days, but what u wouldn’t know is that I’m dating her… No, she’s not BulBul… This post is a Memoir of the bygone year with her, a repertoire of experiences she’s enriched me with… I intended to post on Valentine's Day itself, but because of the demanding nature of hers I was forced to stay away from the internet, and celebrate our anniversary elsewhere. I met her, for the first time on Feb 13 2008, She was at the HR room in the 5 th floor of my office, waiting for me there; after a couple of mins of talk, I sensed we were getting closer, I didn’t expect that it would be such, that she would be mine henceforth. I felt a Déjà vu when I saw her, I felt I had met her befor...

Divided!! I Say We were Never United.

Unity in Diversity… The country's USP... well I don't know who coined this phrase… but it is such a wonderful tagline that camouflages , all the ill feelings and differences in our country from the eyes of the world and also from our own. One great civilization, in search of which the Europeans dared to explore the rough seas, and which was indirectly responsible for how the present world atlas looks, was divided into 2 nations, and bloodily on the basis of religion. Further ruled by our own countrymen we were divided into states, with divide running into languages, subsequent reservations and cultural policies divided us on basis of castes and sub-castes. I agree the castes and sub-caste existed even before the independence, but with Govt. having politics, policies biased by caste they simply reinforced the ugly scheme of things by simply reversing the hierarchy of stately support to these castes. 60 year old, we still call ourselves a Young Country to cover up the impunity o...

Coloured Wings

Butterfly, a wonderful insect, viewed as a symbol of freedom, cheerfulness, zeal and vigor, a dutiful member of the food chain, A spring is unimaginable in the absence of these lovable fluttering insects, to the poets, playwright and also to the scientists. I had a thought about them too, sort of interesting. Why do we humans have an insatiable penchant for the bright and glitterati, with the example of the Butterfly, I want to put across my point, the butterfly is an ugly looking caterpillar, which morphs itself in a cocoon into a brightly coloured butterfly. How many times have you admired, or heard people admire a caterpillar, photographed them and cherishing the cocoon etc. Come spring when the lazy, ugly worm flies out to be a brightly coloured insect, from photographers to artists, to writers to poets go romantic and ecstatic in praising the butterfly. Scientists and nature enthusiasts run over hills and vales to catch, admire them and cherish t...

MEASURES to Check Inflation…

Nearly Eight weeks since, the Petrol prices were raised and the lending rates of the Banks increased. The acclaimed “Dream Team” of Montek, Manmohan and Chidambaram’s acumen of FINE Economics has brought us to an unhealthy state of 13% inflation. The “AAM AADMI” is left lurching in the Scorching flames of fiery Commodity prices. The FM had vehemently and immaturely attributed the rise in prices of Edible Oils, cereal grains and the double digit inflation to the sharp rise in Crude Oil Prices, which was at its maximum of $150 a barrel, the Inflation index at this stage measured in the whereabouts of 8-9%, now when the Oil prices have fallen significantly and have settled at about $115 a barrel the Inflation is at 13%. Sadly inflation has continued to rise for 3 consecutive weeks. The hike in CRR has also not helped in curtailing the vices of high inflation. Still, the Govt continues to downplay the issue, and is not ready to accept it as a national concern and call far a Parliamentary...
